Who am I

Violinist orchestra professor, Composer, Transcriber-arranger

I compose … and I deal on request with transcriptions, arrangements and orchestration works of classical music or … if necessary also other musical genres.

I studied violin, piano and composition at the “G. Verdi” Conservatory in Como where, in 1996, I obtained my violin graduation with the highest grade.

…while I continued my studies in composition, organ and orchestral conducting at the Milan Conservatory, I then attended further master classes; in violin with Dora Schwarzberg, at the “Romanini” Foundation in Brescia and with Massimo Quarta, at the Conservatory of Lugano and in composition with Ivan Fedele and Alessandro Solbiati.

Since 2006 I have been a regular violinist at the Orchestra della Svizzera Italiana.

I was finalist at the “Camillo Togni” 2005-2006 International Composition Competition with the piece “Octophon”, performed and broadcasted on Rai Radio3.

I attended academic composition courses at the Conservatory of Como
